FAQ

How long is the treatment?

Treatment is 10 sessions in total. Each session goes for 1 hour.

Can I do treatment in one week?

No.

The shortest amount of time is one treatment per day. You need time to complete the homework exercises.

Do I have to pay upfront?

No.

Payment can be made at the completion of each session.

My daughter is in yr 1 and reads very well. She is in the top reading group. Could she still need and benefit from the treatment?

Yes.

Often Kindy to Yr 1 work can be very easy for clever children to remember. It is not until they need to read and be able to comprehend that problems may arise. Poor comprehension skills is a key sign.

If I am dyslexic will your treatment benefit me?

Yes!

But an assessment is recommended.

Do you treat all ages?

The best age is 7-8 years old however we do treat younger if they are able (this will be determined in the assessment). I have also treated all different ages up to a 68 year old - age has no limits!

I have been to an OPTOMETRIST and they said my eyes don't have any issues and I have 20/20 vision.
Is there a chance I may still need treatment?

Yes.

We are looking for an unsteady fixation on the visual cortex which is not generally tested by an optometrist.

Can I have treatment if I wear glasses?

Yes.

But it will be discussed at the assessment why you wear glasses.

Can I claim the treatment through my health fund or medicare?

Unfortunately not.

But you can give the receipt to your accountant and it can be included with your medical expenses in that year.

Does the treatment or assessment hurt?

No.

There is nothing to be afraid or worries about. No drugs or big scary machines.

My son only shows a couple of symptoms, is it still worth having an assessment?

Definitely.

Symptoms are different in everyone. it depends on how our bodies deal with it. Some people show many signs while others show not so many. In the assessment we will determine if it is there or not. There is no grey area it is a medical imperfection we are looking for.
