The Central Coast Centre
The Alison Lawson Central Coast and Hornsby centres continue the valuable work of Mrs Alison Lawson, who has devoted her life to researching and finding help for visual dyslexia.
“In 1988, the treatment for visual dyslexia was begun using the LASD device together with a carefully stepped program of exercises.” The Central Coast Centre was previously operated by Maria Thomas, daughter of Alison Lawson, in Wyong. Maria has moved back to Moss Vale Clinic to continue working with her Mum. Tanya McDonald Operator of the Central Coast

I have been personally trained by both Alison Lawson and her daughter, Maria Thomas (Moss Vale Centre) in the Alison Lawson Technology.
I became aware of the treatment when looking for ways to overcome my daughters reading, writing and speech issues. My daughter Abbie (11years old and in year 6) completed the treatment in June 2011.
Check out the My Story link for our experience.
The treatment was fantastic and I could really see myself following on in the footsteps of Alison and Maria.
Basically, I fell in love with the treatment and the results it achieves for the patients...so much that I have started my own treatment centre and intend to help as many other children and adults as I can.
The change in Abbie has been wonderful. Not only has she now got a love for reading, she is also a lot more organised and dedicated to her school work. She enjoys doing her homework and takes great pride now in what she does. Also socially she has become a lot more confident and her netball skills have improved too (she was actually intercepting the ball and catching it instead of batting and fumbling it).
It is with a massive passion that I continue this work and help as many children/adults as I possibly can so that they too can see clearly and feel confident in all that they do.
If you have any questions about anything or would just like to discuss you or your child's symptoms please don't hesitate to CONTACT ME.
